DICOM Router
Need to transmit DICOM studies over the Internet with high security?
Consider the DICOM Router from Miner Miracles LTD.
While
the DICOM standard has produced a new world of integration between DICOM
devices, this simple integration often fails when you transmit DICOM
studies across the open Internet. For HIPAA compliance, patient data
sent using the Internet must be encrypted to prevent hacking and protect
the data. With different DICOM systems using different methods of
encryption, Internet integration can often be difficult and expensive.
VPN, or
Virtual Private Networking, is widely used by us and many others, but
some companies do not allow open VPN connections with outside networks
due to cost and potential for virus infection.
Your
solution is the DICOM Router. Easily installed on your local network,
this small server:
-
Receives studies from all
your DICOM modalities: CR, CT, MR, US, and so on.
-
Uses lossless compression to
reduce demands on your Internet connection with no loss in image
quality.
-
Fully encrypts all patient
data for HIPAA compliance.
-
Transmits your studies to
preset destinations.
-
Turnkey installation,
maintenance and user support.
With
the DICOM router installed on sending and receiving networks,
installation is simple, HIPAA compliance is assured and integration
with any DICOM device is easy. Ask about our financing and leasing
options.
DVD
Archive System
Need to
archive small volumes of DICOM studies at low cost? Consider the DVD
Archive System from Miner Miracles LTD.
Smaller
facilities generating 1,000 to 4,000 DICOM studies per year can take
advantage of the savings offered by digital archival without the high
capital costs associated with traditional PACS systems.
-
One DVD at a cost of roughly
$0.30 can store up to 700 DICOM studies 20 MB in size using 3:1 lossless
compression. Simply copy the DVD for off-site secure storage.
-
The archive database writes
the oldest studies to DVD, manages and tracks labeling, and prints DVD
labels.
-
The viewer database maintains
thumbnails for all studies. Opening a study archived to DVD requests a
specific DVD be inserted into the drive. There is no need to search
through DVDs for a specific study.
-
DVDs can be burned by an
external DVD publishing system with internal printer for automatic
labeling. The same system can be used to produce patient CDs.
-
Can be supplied with or
without teleradiology for remote physician access.
-
High reliability systems with
enhanced monitors and simple disaster recovery.
-
Off-site backup over the
Internet adds reliability and improved disaster recovery.
-
Turnkey installation,
maintenance and user support.
-
Large scale PACS systems
using spinning media for quick retrieval can be found by clicking

We can
make these savings available to your facility today. Ask about our
financing and leasing options.
Patient CD Burners
Need to
hand your patients a CD with their studies, possibly with copies of
documents or reports? Consider the Patient CD Burner system from Miner
Miracles LTD.
A $0.25
CD is much less expensive than providing films to patients and referring
physicians. It is easier to store and replace and, in many cases, more
durable than film. For studies generated by DICOM devices, these savings
are available today at a low installed cost with special finance and
leasing options.
-
Patient CDs include a
stand-alone image viewer to display your studies on any Windows system.
Viewer starts automatically when the CD is inserted.
-
Patient CDs can include
documents (MS Word, PDF, etc.), scanned documents and other images.
-
CDs can be created manually or
burned by a DVD publishing system that automatically prints a
professional label on the CD. The DVD publishing system can also be used
by a DVD Archive System.
-
The CD Burner system includes
DICOM communication capability. It can receive studies from any DICOM
device and automatically burn Patient CDs.
-
CDs produced use the DICOMDIR
standard. Studies can be imported and read by other DICOM display and
archival systems.
-
CDs can contain ultrasound
motion clips or cardiac cine-loops.
-
Turnkey installation,
maintenance and user support.
DICOM Print Server
Need to
save film processing costs by printing high quality images on a standard
Windows printer? Consider the DICOM Print Server by Miner Miracles LTD.
With
many modalities, such as MR, CT or ultrasound, images do not need to be
printed on film to display good image quality. For reporting, referring
physician copies or secondary copies, a high quality image on paper is
often adequate at much lower cost.
-
Receive studies from any DICOM
device and automatically print high quality images on any Windows
printer.
-
Cubic interpolation produces
the highest quality image enlargement.
-
Special lookup curves can
optimize image quality for each modality.
-
Automatic selection of a
pre-defined printer, paper size and paper tray. For example, all CT
images can automatically be directed to printer 2 to print on 8˝x11
paper from tray 1.
-
Foot notes can be inserted
with doctor’s name, department, modality, and so on.
-
Print high quality grayscale
or color images.
Save on
film processing costs today at a low installed cost with special finance
and leasing options.
DICOM Worklist Server
Need to
reduce typing errors for patient’s name, ID and other important
demographics? Tired of searching for typing errors and manually
correcting them for PACS and billing operations? Consider the DICOM
Worklist Server by Miner Miracles LTD.
Our
goal for each diagnostic facility:
Enter patient demographics only once!
Stop
relying on your technologists to enter patient demographics with exactly
correct spelling. In a typical facility, typing errors for patient
information costs at least 3-4 days per month in finding orphaned
records, manually correcting spelling errors and assuring that these
records are correctly processed to the PACS system and billing.
-
The DICOM Worklist Server
receives text file information from your scheduling or RIS system,
parses this data, and makes it available to your modalities.
-
Most DICOM modalities, such as
CR, CT, MR, and so on, have the ability to request study information by
executing a modality worklist query directed to the DICOM Worklist
Server. The response to this query automatically loads patient
information into the modality controller as pending studies.
-
Correct patient information is
automatically forwarded from each modality to the PACS and, probably,
from the PACS to the billing system. This assures consistent information
throughout the entire process.
Stop
losing money in billing errors and the time required to correct
demographic errors. Ask about our financing and leasing options.
Digitizer/CR Software
Need
better DICOM software with advanced functions to acquire images from
your CR or digitizer system? Consider CR/digitizer software from Miner
Miracles LTD.
You may
have an excellent CR or digitizer system, but your control software may
have problems. It may use a proprietary format or not be fully DICOM
compliant. You may need a better image viewer. You may want more
advanced functions, such as DVD archival, patient CDs or even DICOM
routing with encryption.
The
answer may be improved DICOM acquisition software.

View Server™
Workstations
Converting to CR or
fully digital diagnostic images, eliminating films, can
produce a major savings for the radiology department. In the
process, your doctors need to see your images. Often, the cost of
providing dedicated view stations can be significant. The View
Server™
from Miner Miracles LTD can turn every workstation in your facility
into an image view station for a fraction of the cost of providing
dedicated view stations.
- Convert any
workstation to view DICOM studies.
- Monitor quality
can be selected from high quality color to near diagnostic
quality.
- Multiple monitors are supported.
- Diagnostic
quality workstations can also be supplied. Please click
